Boston University

Achievements

The Alpha Delta Pi experience is one that enriches the lives of its members through friendships, opportunities for personal growth, happy memories, commitment to high ideals, development of good decision-making skills, and a sense of pride in being a sorority woman. We encourage our members to get involved on campus and seek leadership roles in special interest and honor societies.

Boston University is known for its competitive and rigorous academics. In Alpha Delta Pi, we understand how challenging it can be to balance coursework, leadership, and involvement. While we expect a high level of commitment from our sisters, we also expect and support strong academic achievement. Our chapter holds a minimum GPA requirement of 2.7, and for the past ten years, ADPi has consistently ranked among the highest Panhellenic GPAs at BU. This year, our chapter’s average GPA was 3.56.

We recognize that academics always come first. Whether it’s helping with time management, study accountability, or simply offering encouragement, our sisters support one another through all the ups and downs of academic life. We are proud to be part of such a motivated and accomplished community.

To provide structured support, our scholarship chair hosts weekly library hours for group study and connection. Outside of these, you can always find sisters gathered on the third floor of Mugar Memorial Library—studying, sharing notes, or just being a consistent support system (usually surrounded by a few ADPi tote bags).

Our members represent a wide range of academic paths, professional interests, and extracurricular commitments. ADPi encourages every sister to pursue a well-rounded, ambitious college experience. Recently, members of our chapter have been recognized by Boston University’s Panhellenic Association with honors including Sorority Woman of the Year, Excellence in New Member Education, and nominations for New Member of the Year—a reflection of the leadership, service, and excellence our sisters bring to the BU community.

We’re also proud of our efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we continually work to make our chapter welcoming and empowering for all members. To learn more about our DEI work, visit our dedicated Instagram page: @buadpi.dei.
